タペストリー技法とは:
粘土が柔らかい時に布を張り付けて焼成すると布は燃えてなくなり、凸凹の表面の白生地が出来上がります。その凸凹の表面に絵付けをする為、大変高度な技術を必要とします。
貼り付ける布は目が粗いものと細かいものがあり、本品は目が粗いものです。
本品はタペストリー技法の上に金盛りを施している、大変手間を要した作品です。

Tapetry technique :
Stick fabric when the clay is still soft. After burning for the first time, the fabric will be burnt and gone, and the bumpy surface remains. Paint on the bumpy surface, and burn again. High skill is required in order to draw on a bumpy surface.
There are fabric that are rough, and also that are finely woven. This vase appears to be a rough kind of fabric.
This has gold moriage on top of tapestry, which eventually was made to be high end.
