A.A.Vantineのコラレンの特徴として背景にぼかし技法が使われていることがあげられます。
綺麗なぼかした色の背景にコラレン技法の金魚草が大変美しく施されています。
この花瓶はおそらく1930年代のランプブームで一度ランプに作り替えられている為、底に電気のコードが通る用の穴が開いています。
