Nipponドールとは1914年から1921年の間に輸出された、後ろにNipponと記された人形のことです。アメリカにおいて第1次世界大戦以前、玩具はドイツが独占している状態でした。
第1次世界大戦が始まると日本がその役割を担うようになりました。
このNipponドールはその時代の主流の水着を着たお人形さんです。
